Approximate travel times:                                                                                                                                              Danbury, CT: 20 minutes                                                                                                                                                   NYC: 1 hour                                                                                                                                                    Pougkeepsie/Newburg/New Paltz: 45 minutes                                                                                                                Stamford/Norwalk, CT: 45 min-1 hour                                                                                                                         Tappanzee Bridge: 45 minutes                                                                   

From CT and upstate NY via I-84:

I-84 to 684 South to Exit 8
("Croton falls, Hardscrabble Road").
Left off exit.
Pass through 2 lights, go under train bridge, look for sign on left soon that says "Lake Mahopac".
Make left at sign and go straight through light ("Croton Falls Road"). Follow about 10 minutes, **bearing left towards "Mahopac" (at road split).**
Go to end of road to light. @ light make a right onto route 6.
Follow about 5 minutes, pass "Key Food/K-Mart" plaza (on right), pass "Valley Market" (small deli on left).
After "Valley Market" look for "Shear Hill Road" very soon on right.
(If you see a lake go back!)
Make right onto "Shear Hill Road" Go to #300 on left.(top of hill, "Santalis" on mailbox). White house, circular driveway.

From NYC:

Westside- Take the westside highway all the way North (continue right under GW bridge) this will become the Saw Mill Parkway North and will eventually become 684 North to exit 8. Make a left off the exit, pass through light, go under train bridge, look for sign on left soon that says "Lake Mahopac". Make left at sign and go straight through light ("Croton Falls Road"). GW Bridge to Rt 9 North (West Side Highway) then follow directions from NYC Westside.

Tapanzee Bridge to 287 East to Saw Mill Parkway North then follow directions from NYC.
